Aasimar are people whose lives carry a celestial or divine influence. Healing gifts, light, visions, or a transformed appearance can reveal that connection. It does not give the world a simple test for virtue, nor settle which account of the gods is true.

Faith and interpretation

In Eberron, celestial power can be understood through several traditions. An aasimar might connect their gifts with the Silver Flame, Sovereign Host, Undying Court, or a plane. A Seeker of the Blood of Vol may understand such power as divine potential within mortal life. Those explanations belong to different beliefs rather than one institution appointing every aasimar.

Some inherit an unusual family history. Others manifest gifts without a known predecessor or understand their nature after an encounter. A voice or vision can become part of an experience without making every instruction it seems to offer trustworthy.

A life beyond a symbol

Neighbors may see an aasimar as a blessing, a curiosity, or someone on whom to place unreasonable expectations. A religious institution can welcome a gifted person without owning their future. A healer can choose neighborhood care over a public role someone else has prepared.

In Sharn, visible celestial power does not automatically provide wealth, House credentials, or influence over a court. An aasimar still lives among people who judge them through actions and shared history.
