House Vadalis: modern hippogriff emblem and commercial wordmark.

Mark of Handling · Human lineages · Animals and magebreeding

House Vadalis breeds, trains, and cares for animals. Its Mark of Handling supports communication with beasts and influence over their behavior. Magebreeding brings magical techniques into breeding, producing creatures with particular useful traits. Training and care remain part of turning an animal’s qualities into a dependable working relationship.

The House’s business therefore extends beyond the sale of an impressive mount. Breeding stock, skilled handlers, stables, suitable feed, and people who understand an animal’s needs all support the finished service.

Animal work begins with feeding, handling, and daily care.

Animals in a vertical city

Sharn’s streets and towers give different creatures very different places to work. A mount, a pack animal, and a household companion have different needs, while the route between a stable and a destination can matter as much as an animal’s training. The city’s transport systems include many kinds of movement at different scales.

A customer is also buying an ongoing responsibility. Space, care, feeding, and the services needed to keep an animal well continue after a sale. For a worker who depends on that animal, those costs become part of the household’s security.

Work and access in 1250

Vadalis belongs to a House economy in which training and institutional connections shape opportunity. Marked heirs have a particular gift; unmarked handlers and other workers contribute skill developed through practice.

The wider city still relies on independent labor and neighborhood knowledge as well as recognized providers. A House name offers a familiar point of contact, while an animal’s welfare and usefulness depend on the daily attention of the people responsible for it.

Modern House identity

In 1250, Vadalis's commercial identity uses a hippogriff in forest green and sage. A poised hippogriff combines an eagle's head and feathered wing with horse hindquarters, hooves, and a flowing tail. Organic curves and refined serif lettering present cultivated vigor and careful breeding.

Its advertising line is Better by nature. The emblem appears across everyday business alongside the ancestral arms retained in formal House settings.
