House Tharashk: modern dragonne emblem and commercial wordmark.

Mark of Finding · Human and half-orc lineages · Tracking and prospecting

House Tharashk finds things that people are willing to pay for: valuable resources, missing people, and particular targets. The Mark of Finding supports that work, while guides, prospectors, investigators, laborers, and commercial staff turn individual ability into a wider business.

Its roots lie in the Shadow Marches, whose communities include both human and orc ancestry. Family and regional traditions remain part of that inheritance. The marked lines include humans and half-orcs, alongside unmarked relatives and workers.

Samples, manifests, and skilled assessment turn resources into shipments.

Resources and claims

Finding a deposit and making its contents available are different undertakings. Extraction, processing, transport, and the agreements controlling them determine who benefits from a discovery. A resource can pass through several hands before it reaches a workshop as a useful material.

In 1250, Tharashk’s public role includes shard prospecting, mining, and resource contracts. Refined dragonshards are important inputs to useful magic. Dealers cite shortages and the costs of safe processing when explaining prices; some independent makers dispute those accounts. Dragonshards, Residuum, and Supply describes the public debate.

Finding people

Tracking and investigation also raise questions of authority. A paying customer can request information without possessing the right to detain someone or seize what is found. Sharn’s law and institutions distinguish professional help from public powers.

The House’s two kinds of work meet in a common issue: identifying something valuable does not resolve every claim upon it. For residents dealing with a missing person, a contested shipment, or the price of repairs, those claims can be much more immediate than the distant source of a supply chain.

Modern House identity

In 1250, Tharashk's commercial identity uses a dragonne in ochre and charcoal. A strong lion profile is framed by angular draconic wings. A diamond-shaped shard motif beneath the chin joins the traditional dragonne to the House's resource business; heavy lettering gives the mark an industrial weight.

Its advertising line is Find your advantage. The emblem appears across everyday business alongside the ancestral arms retained in formal House settings.
